BizCard-CD

Our BizCard-CD division needed a sample BizCard-CD that, simply put, would blow viewers' minds. It had to show the large range of creative and technical possibilities achievable with the media and BizCard-CD production services.

To start with, a full description of the BizCard-CD media was developed that would be the focus of the project. A working interface was developed and was made to resemble a piece of electronic hardware, in order to play up the technical aspects of the product. This same interface also was used to develop the web site at www.bizcard-cd.com.

After developing a script for the contents and working out the interface concept, work was begun to construct a quality feature introduction that would include 3-D animation, special effects and live video. In sticking with the hi-tech theme, the first few moments of the intro dramatically introduce the company logo and play out a scene in outer space in which a large spaceship scans the logo with a laser, as if reading a CD-ROM. The spaceship is then revealed to be a device upon which images are displayed after reading the CD. This device becomes the main interface to the rest of the application, and becomes active after a short live-action video plays on its screen, complete with narration and electronic background music.

Once the user starts exploring the areas of the program, he/she is treated to custom transitions that make use of the cutting-edge technologies available in QuickTime media.

Once the program was developed, we created a hybrid version of it that could be played on both Windows and Macintosh computers.

You will be hard-pressed to find a multimedia project developed to the degree of quality that this cross-platform BizCard-CD has achieved. If you would like to see this project, feel free to contact us for a sample viewing.
